Written Valuations
A valuation is not a survey. It’s a limited check on the property that is carried out to ensure it’s worth the money
you’re paying for it.
A written valuation includes details of:
• The property’s open market value
• Type and location of property
• Accommodation (e.g. Central heating) and Services
• Highlights of any major defects in the property, but doesn’t provide specific detail
• The estimated cost of rebuilding the property for insurance purposes.
